Gender Sensitization Cell
Under the provisions of UGC sponsored SAKSHAM, Measures for Ensuring the Safety of Women and Programmes for Gender Sensitization on Campuses, a Gender Sensitization Cell is formed in the campus. Gender Sensitization involves creating awareness about gender issues and working towards and creating an enabling environment of gender justice where men and women can work together with a sense of personal security and dignity.

Procedure for complain
This cell is dedicated to all sections of the community in campus irrespective of students or faculty in all disciplines, support staff and administration. Gender Sensitization Cell opposes all forms of discrimination and harassment, especially sexual harassment on campuses across the campus. Claims of equality, dignity and the ability to live, work and study without fear of harassment are intrinsic ingredients of this cell.
Complaints can be made through written letter or email by the victim to the Gender Sensitization Cell chairman themselves or through a reliable person. In case of complaint, by an onlooker of the incident, the complaint should be made through written letter or email by the onlooker themselves.
Punishment
The committee will be summoned by the chairman and complain will be thoroughly discussed to understand the degree of complain. If the case is found credible for an investigation, a meticulous investigation will be done and offender will be called to appear before the committee. The decision taken by the committee will be final and the offender shall abide by the decision.
